Electronic "eyes" of the Bieszczadzki Border Guard Department - VIDEO - ASELSAN cooled thermal imaging cameras supplied by Siltec
Sets of thermal imaging cameras used to protect the border during the day and at night have been delivered to nine posts of the Bieszczadzki Border Guard Department. The purchase of the latest generation of equipment worth almost 3 million zloty was financed from EU funds under the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.

In 2020, the Polish Border Guard will be equipped with 7 mobile perimeter sets intended for the detection and recognition of objects in border regions. The aim of the project is to strengthen the level of surveillance and protection of the external border of the EU.
